A lovely little place with just five rooms, and very handy for Saturnia Terme. Our room was great. When we arrived, nobody was there to check us in, so we called the number posted on the door. Eventually someone answered and gave us the code for the key box so we could get into our room.

The gardens are lovely, with chairs right outside the door where you can sit in the sun. Our room was quaint and had everything we needed, and breakfast was amazing, brought at the time we’d chosen each morning. It’s a fabulous B+B, about a 17-minute walk from the hot springs. We came by train and bus. Nearby Saturnia is a 25-minute walk up a very steep road, and it’s the only nearby place to get food. There’s no supermarket. Without a vehicle, you’re quite isolated, though it’s a lovely spot to get away and unwind for a weekend. We had a lovely stay and highly recommend it.

We stopped here for one night on a road trip through Tuscany, choosing the property ahead of time because it was close to the hot springs. It was easy to find, and our room was very cute. Breakfast was decent and arrived when we requested it. The problem came at checkout: I’d booked through expedia to use some credit card points, but they said it hadn’t been paid and demanded payment again. expedia has since confirmed that it was paid. We paid a second time at the property because we had plans and needed to leave, and there was also a substantial language barrier.

The rooms are sweet and the gardens are lovely, and the location is perfect for reaching the Cascate Del Mulino thermal springs. With so little light pollution, the stars at night are amazing. Breakfast had loads of choice, and we all fell in love with the cute cat 😍
