Le Querciolaie Monte Cavallo

We only stayed five nights and wished we could have made it longer. The place is just steps from the cascades of Saturnia, with a huge garden and lovely countryside views. The spacious house was very clean and had everything we needed. There’s a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a really big fridge freezer, plus a living room with TV and sofa, a large dining room with a fireplace, a comfortable bed in the large bedroom and a clean bathroom.

Our two-night booking turned into three because we loved this place. It’s a beautiful farmhouse surrounded by nature, with spacious rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, dining room and living room with a fireplace. Everything was well equipped and immaculately clean, and the outdoor garden was splendid and cared for down to the details. The owners and Elena, the contact person, were both helpful and kind. The thermal baths are close enough to walk to if you enjoy walking. We visited in December with a group of nine and would gladly return in another season.

We were a group of nine over the December 8th long weekend, and Elena, our Italian host, was kind and available to answer our questions. The house was wonderful, with all the comforts we needed, and the fireplace in the living room kept our evenings warm. It’s close to the spa and surrounded by nature, with a large, well-equipped, well-kept garden and plenty of parking. A good choice in any season, even for a big group.

The landscape is lovely for a refreshing morning walk, and you might catch the evocative natural waterfalls in the early hours. The house is comfortable and cozy, a nice place to relax with friends or family.
