Borgo Riparossa

Francesco made us feel right at home. On Easter morning, he shared the story behind his project and showed us the olive trees and the different oils he makes. We stayed at Borgo Riparossa from April 4th to 6th, surrounded by nature, olive trees, and vineyards. The new rooms are bright and spacious, with every comfort, and the king-size bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, with sweet and savory options made from artisanal, local, and organic ingredients. Outside, there’s an infinity pool and comfortable loungers for relaxing in the sun. If you're looking for a peaceful break, this is a lovely place to unwind. Highly recommended.

I left Borgo Riparossa feeling calmer and lighter, and already wanting to come back. The olive grove is beautiful and peaceful, and on walks we came across hares and other small wild animals. It feels wonderfully removed from the noise and rush of everyday life. The welcome is sincere, and the cleanliness is impeccable. You can see the care in the details throughout. The farm also makes excellent products: top-quality olive oil, including single-variety oils, along with wine and pasta that really reflect the region. It’s a place that stays with you.

The pool’s panoramic view made the weekend feel even more special, though it was too cold for us to enjoy it much. We were there with a group of friends, and the owners arranged a dinner for us with wonderful local food prepared by a talented chef. Their hospitality was a highlight. The farmhouse sits among the lovely Tuscan hills, with a welcoming, authentic feel and a property that’s kept clean and in excellent condition. It was a peaceful place to recharge. Terme di Saturnia is just a few kilometers away, making this a handy base for exploring. We also bought the farm’s olive oil, wine, and pasta. Highly recommended.

There are six beautifully furnished double rooms, some of which can be set up for three or four guests. The rooms have lovely design and porcelain furnishings, and even the complimentary toiletries include a toothbrush and toothpaste, eye mask, and slippers. There’s a ground-floor accessible room, a large shared lounge, and a pool. Surrounded by greenery and olive groves, the property is about twenty minutes from the Saturnia hot springs. It could be a great value to rent the whole resort: you can have an exclusive dinner and get a discounted voucher for the springs, with wine and olive oil tasting included in dinner. Highly recommended.
