The road getting there is a story of its own.

We had a great time and plan to return for the views and a swim in the lovely pool. I’m sharing this as advice for the host, not as criticism. Our group adapts easily and wasn’t put off by small difficulties. The farmhouse is in a fantastic, strategic spot for visiting different places, though there’s little signage in the surrounding area. The property has great potential, but some things need updating. The rooms are clean and welcoming, and with flies, mosquitoes, and other small animals to be expected in the countryside, mosquito nets would be essential so we could air the rooms. The wooden floor in front of the common room is unsafe and needs fixing. The outdoor furniture is very old, broken, and neglected. Given the price, we expected a more refined setting, though we understand these changes take resources. The kitchen is dated but has the essentials for cooking. The four cats we found should be mentioned for guests who may have allergies. It’s a shame about the piano, since its whole mechanical part needs renovation before it can be played. Bed linens and towels are provided, and WiFi works throughout the property. There’s an outdoor barbecue and oven, plus a common room with a fireplace and a nice table that seats more than 10 people.

The garden around the house has olive, orange, and mandarin trees, roses, lavender, and rosemary, all with intoxicating scents. There’s a patio around the house, a built-in barbecue, and a panoramic infinity pool with loungers and umbrellas. Parking is available, and Wi-Fi is free. This recently built, charming farmhouse sits in nature on a hilltop with an unparalleled view and unforgettable sunsets. It’s elegantly and thoughtfully furnished, with very comfortable rooms, air conditioning, flat-screen TVs, ceiling fans, and parquet floors. Each room opens onto a terrace or patio and has a modern private bathroom with terracotta floors and a glass shower stall. The kitchen is fully equipped, even with a clothes dryer. The wonderful beaches of Argentario are just a few minutes’ drive away. The best a vacation can offer. Highly recommended.
