Le Dune Del Marchese

Antonio is so helpful, and the orchard around the property is open to guests. Picking a peach and eating it fresh is a whole different experience. Le dune del Marchese is made up of three pajare, traditional houses renovated and furnished with real flair and curiosity. It’s out in the countryside, though the beaches are a short drive away, so you do need a car. Each unit has its own patio, and there’s also a long, narrow shared pool that’s great for swimming. Antonio has added thoughtful touches throughout, with loungers, shady spots, and lots of fairy lights that come on in the evening. It all makes the place feel welcoming and a little magical.

We’ve stayed here several times, and each year we’re more keen to come back, even if only for a few days away from the stressful, deafening world. It feels like a place for the soul. There’s a real immersion in nature, along with the warm welcome of Apulian hospitality. The resort is an ideal spot for families, friends, couples, or anyone wanting to share good times and experiences with other guests. The fabulous beaches are only a short distance away, and the landscape feels like the Maldives of Salento. The hospitality is excellent.

The sandy beach is lovely and not too busy, and the place is excellent value for money. It’s a beautiful complex of three trulli with a pool, just minutes from the sea. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed it so much the first time that we came back, and we’ll return again. The nature is fantastic, but the location is even better. It feels like a fantasyland to share with friends.
