The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well, and most of the food was pretty good, though a little overpriced. Still, I didn't love the place. Since I look younger than I am, I felt uncomfortable as a teenager. The staff kept giving my sister and me dirty looks, and the waiters were always pushing us to order more food and drinks than we needed. At the beach, umbrellas and chairs cost extra. There were flies everywhere, and I wish they'd put fans near the eating area so the flies wouldn't land on you. Our room had no mini fridge. When we left some dinner leftovers in the lounge fridge, the staff got very mad. The pool was hot, with no shade, and had lots of bugs. I wouldn't recommend staying here with kids. It was all right overall.

Jeffrey at the beach resto-bar was great, and Antonella was just wonderful. Everyone else we dealt with was friendly and helpful, too. As the signs say, NO STRESS! The complex is kept very clean, and you can see the staff working on it all the time. Our room was spacious and clean, with a coffee maker, coffee, different teas, and a balcony with a drying rack. There's also a huge shared living room and a balcony overlooking the sea. The private beach is long and clean, nice for a walk. Chairs and umbrellas can be rented for the day, and there's a sauna and Turkish bath for a fee. A lifeguard is there all day. About 20mins from Manfredonia, Ippocampo is a hotel and beach club in a larger beach complex with other clubs, houses, B&Bs, restaurants, shops, and more. It was the nicest-looking spot in the complex. The sand is clean and dark brown, and the sea is dark too, though that's the Adriatique sea.
