Agriturismo Le Casette

The shared outdoor area has tables and a free barbecue, and our room was spacious, lovely, with exposed brick and plenty of little amenities. The owner, Eleonora, was kind and helpful, giving us lots of ideas for places to visit. With little time and not much knowledge of the area, we found her suggestions invaluable. The little houses are a great choice around here, peaceful and quiet but still handy for nearby beaches and attractions.

The area is quiet, and we loved relaxing in the garden hammock or eating outside. My partner and I stayed in early September and had a wonderful time. The room was spacious and charming, with exposed stone and brick, and the owner was genuinely kind and helpful. It’s up in the hills, but convenient for the sea and for inland Tuscan towns like Volterra and San Gimignano. The value for money is excellent too. Highly recommended!

My ground-floor room was so damp during my six-day stay that I had to empty the dehumidifier three times each day. After coming back from the beach, I could smell mold. I considered staying longer, but the price went up to 450 euros plus 50 euros for cleaning, which was too much. The scenery was beautiful and the owner lovely, but I left on the date we’d agreed and, in my view, paid the 50 euros cleaning charge unnecessarily. I wonder what Booking.pl will say about it.

The apartments have just the basics, but they work well for a holiday when you’re out most of the day. It’s a lovely spot surrounded by greenery and quiet, relaxing at any hour. The owner was very kind and helpful. Highly recommended.
