QUATTROVIGNE - Country House

My son's wedding, and the day after, were magnificent 😍

The rooms were spotless, tidy, and had everything needed for a good rest, with beautiful views over the surrounding hills. This charming B&B in the Langhe has an elegant but relaxing feel, the kind of place where you lose track of time. Firdaous welcomed us so warmly, and Luciano was so professional that I felt at home right away. They were both kind and helpful throughout our stay. We also had a lovely light dinner, with excellent cured meats and cheeses, homemade grape jams, and pepper mostarda. Breakfast brought delicious homemade hazelnut and apple cakes, and the owners' wine was pure art ☺️. I was completely taken with the place. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful break and genuine hospitality in the heart of the Langhe, away from the daily grind.

My friend and I were treated like queens, and the service was impeccable. The bed was super comfortable, and our room was kept in meticulous condition. Both inside and out, everything was immaculately clean and well maintained. We loved the complete, delicious breakfast, and the outdoor pool and hot tub were fantastic. The view was breathtaking too. It really felt like paradise. We hope to come back soon for another two days of proper relaxation, if our holidays allow. Thanks again for the hospitality!

I haven't stayed at the property. I contacted the hosts about holding a birthday party and staying overnight. They were kind in their replies, and after several messages over two days, they confirmed it was available and asked for a deposit. Soon after I confirmed the booking, they told me they'd made a mistake and it was already booked, even though I'd already told my guests where it would be. They apologized, then disappeared. I understand that mistakes happen, and I don't usually leave bad reviews, but this was a huge oversight. Nobody checked whether the property was actually free, and it left me looking really bad. I'm sure the property and service may be good, but my experience was completely negative. I hope this feedback helps me be more careful in the future.
