Our two weeks in Italy had no better stop than this B&B. Mantova felt like a hidden gem, and L'Affresco made the visit even nicer. The room was beautifully decorated, with incredible original woodwork on the ceiling. Marina has a lovely touch for mixing modern pieces with antiques. I highly recommend visiting Mantova and staying here.

Right in the city center, yet tucked into a quiet area, this historic building made for a lovely stay. The room was wonderful and very, very comfortable. We enjoyed it a lot. Breakfast was delicious, with a huge choice of quality local specialties. The owners were kind and friendly, and we had a nice chat with them.

Such a cozy place, highly recommend it! My trip ran four hours late and I couldn’t let them know, but the owner still welcomed me kindly. It made my time in Mantova perfect.

The owner, the backyard, and the setting all have a lovely charm, and the room was super comfortable. Ask her for local tips, she’ll be very happy to share where to go.

A very clean, comfortable place in a historic building dating to the 1500s. Breakfast was very good, and the service was kind and good. The price felt proportionate to what was provided.
