Set among greenery away from the city, this place has a pool right in front, which is a real help on hot summer days. I’d go for a ground-floor apartment: it opens straight onto the pool, with room to have breakfast or other meals outside on the grass. The owners are kind and quick to help with whatever you need. It’s especially good if you have kids, since you can relax while they swim or play table tennis and table soccer. There’s a nice restaurant next door, and the sea and Lake Bracciano are about 20 minutes away. A lovely place, highly recommended.

We spent 10 days here for a very relaxing summer break, and the pool was a big part of that. Nazzareno runs things impeccably and has an incredible eye for detail. It’s also a great base for driving out to different places, from the coast to the Eternal City.

So welcoming, quiet, clean, and beautiful. We’ll definitely be back to Sciambreto.

We celebrated our son's First Communion at Sciambreto, and the garden was lovely for the children, with plenty of space in a peaceful green setting close to Rome. The place was easy to reach, and inside it was spacious, clean, and very well looked after. There was music playing softly during lunch. We especially appreciated that our son’s gluten-free meal was served with everyone else’s, so we could all eat together. That’s something other restaurants often miss. The welcome aperitif buffet was generous and delicious, and the whole menu was great. The trofie with zucchini cream, shrimp, cherry tomatoes, and arugula stood out. Portions were generous, the food was excellent, and the prices were more than fair. Our waiter was professional and kind. Many thanks to Nazzareno for being so welcoming and friendly, and for organizing everything so well. Thank you! Kristine and Maurizio

The ravioli filled with ricotta and provola were spectacular, and so was the tagliata. The meal was delicious, and the price felt very fair, especially with the excellent wine included. Nazzareno gave us a warm welcome and explained the dishes perfectly. The location is charming too. I was so pleased with the food that I’ll definitely return. This review probably sounds almost too enthusiastic to be real, but it is. I really recommend the place to everyone. I’ve attached an example of the menu.
