The road up to this lovely B&B gets winding and tricky in places, so bear that in mind. We stayed in the room called Angelo, just as it looks in the photos, and found the bed comfortable and the bathroom nice. Sleeping in the house was a really cool experience, especially with all its old details. We loved it!

The host, Christiana, is a wonderful lady, and her young children are lovely too. Some of the nicest people you could meet. The large house is divided into rooms and apartments of different sizes.

Antique furniture fills this nice old building in a small village, right beside a vineyard and a walking trail.

Staying here feels like stepping 500 years back in time. Amazing place.

The generous, delicious breakfast and the tart Cristiana brought to welcome us were lovely touches. We stayed at La Volpera over Christmas and had a wonderful time. The historic residence is full of charm, with period furniture and thoughtful details throughout. Its location makes it easy to reach the surrounding towns, while woods and vineyards nearby offer plenty of trails for refreshing morning walks. There are so many charming corners in this grand old home, and the attention to detail feels authentic.
