Maranello Residence

The location is great, but our stay at the Maranello Palace Hotel was very poor, and the hotel wasn’t as advertised. We asked for a quiet room but were put facing the busy main road. It was ridiculously hot, and the air conditioning didn’t work. When we asked to move, they said there were no other rooms. They offered a small desk fan and told us to open the windows, which wasn’t an option beside such a busy road, especially since we’d booked four nights. We pointed out that the room was advertised with air conditioning, but that didn’t seem to register. There was no manager available, only a receptionist who seemed to understand the problem, probably because other guests had complained too. Still, the response was that nothing could be done, basically take it or leave it. We left, and now we’re trying to get a refund. The Maranello Palace Hotel is ignoring our emails and messages. Please be careful when booking. The customer service has been completely lacking.

I’d definitely recommend this place and would come back. It’s ideal for Ferrari fans, close to the factory, and not too far from Maranello town. I could see the Ferrari factory from my bedroom, which was brilliant. Our family room with annex was spacious and comfortable, and the Ferrari-themed reception was beautifully decorated. Breakfast was tasty, and the staff were helpful and polite.

The staff were approachable and helpful, and breakfast was good. Rooms were large and comfortable, and the hotel is ideally placed for the Ferrari factory. The bar opens at 5pm, with free snacks served alongside drinks. There’s no restaurant, which is a shame since the restaurants aren’t very close. It’s about a 15-minute walk into town. Overall, a good stay.

The room was nice, and the staff were friendly. Everything was clean and as expected. We stayed in the suite, where the treadmill felt a bit like an afterthought, just sitting unplugged in the middle of the room. The hotel is very close to the Ferrari factory and an easy 15-20 minute walk from the busy part of Maranello.
