B&B Calandrella

The owners were so kind and helpful, and the rooms were clean and well looked after. We had a good breakfast too, with a panoramic view that’s simply breathtaking. It’s close to some of the most beautiful beaches in Maratea. We’ll definitely be back with little Zahra, who was welcomed with so much affection.

Surrounded by nature and looking out over the sea, this place feels like paradise. Mimmo and Elena were so kind, courteous, and helpful, and they made our stay wonderful. The views and location are both beautiful. Highly recommended!

Mimmo and his family gave us a warm welcome at this family-run B&B, which has a lovely view and air-conditioned rooms. We stayed for four nights in mid-July, and they shared plenty of tips about beaches and restaurants nearby. The beaches around Maratea are beautiful, and breakfast is served in a Mediterranean garden. We walked to a couple of Cersuta coves, the seaside skywalking facility, and Cesare’s restaurant. We ate at Cesare on two evenings and had excellent seafood. Thanks to Mimmo, Roberto, and his mother.

A magical place, tucked away and hard to find, but even harder to leave. Mimmo and his wonderful family make all the difference. I could listen to Mimmo tell his life story for hours, it’s history. It’s hard to imagine finding somewhere better.
