Best Western Hotel Rivoli

Breakfast was worth the 10 Euro each day, especially for the coffee and juices. There were fresh scrambled eggs, bacon, croissants, fruit, cakes, other sweet treats and sparkling water, which made my mornings extra special. The staff were amazing and super friendly, and they let me check in two and a half hours early because my room was ready. They also have toiletries if you’ve forgotten something. It’s a little tricky to reach, but only about half a block up a hill. Love Rivoli.

The location is a little way from the centre, and the nearest restaurant I found was about a five-minute walk. Still, my three-night stay was well worth it. The room looked almost new even though the hotel has been there a long time, and its interior gave me a sense of Italian traditions. I bought breakfast one morning for EUR 10 and found it very satisfying. The staff were friendly and helpful. Thanks for a comfortable stay.

We’re from Canada and have stayed in lots of Best Westerns, but this Rome one was better than 90% of the ones back home. The neighborhood is quiet, with tram and trolleybus stops nearby, though we chose to walk. It took about an hour to reach both the city centre and the Vatican, and the route was beautiful. Our clean room had a lovely balcony where we spent peaceful evenings listening to birds. Breakfast had great variety and was fresh and tasty. The staff were kind, respectful and professional. It felt like a perfect home base in Rome.

We really enjoyed staying at Rivoli. It’s a romantic boutique hotel on a dead-end street by a big park, so it feels very private and tucked away in a quiet part of Rome. The service was friendly, and the stylish, clean rooms had plenty of space, good wifi, tea, coffee and mineral water on tap. Breakfast costs 10 Euro. I’d happily come back and definitely recommend it.
