Arianna was brilliant. She drove me into town, showed me around and pointed out the best places. I arrived as a guest and left as a friend. Grazie! The B&B is in a quiet little village outside Maratea, just off the road. There are lemons in the garden, and after about 10 steps you reach your own balcony with the best sea view. Don’t listen to people who complain about the walk. The rooms are super clean, modern and well equipped, and the bathroom is brand new. Breakfast is a dream, with Arianna bringing cappuccino, croissants and whatever else you wish for. There’s a nearly private beach in front of the B&B. If I could, I’d give it more than 5 stars. Absolutely one of the best B&Bs in Italy.

We loved this peaceful, beautiful place. It lived up to its excellent reviews, and Arianna made everything easy, including breakfast. We even stayed an extra night and really want to come back.

Arianna is welcoming and always available. The charming room had every comfort, and breakfast on the veranda came with a picturesque sea view. We’ll definitely be back.

The sea here is fantastic, and once you’ve gone down several steps and walked 50 meters, you reach a splendid private cove. Bring an umbrella if you have one. From the room there’s a breathtaking view over the water, and the cleanliness was excellent. Private parking is essential in this area. A beautiful sea-facing veranda beside the room is where you can watch a breathtaking sunset and have breakfast, a lovely way to start the day. Arianna’s mother made delicious homemade cakes and mouth-watering jams. Try the torta caprese, it’s superb. Arianna was kind and knowledgeable, and recommended and booked an excellent restaurant in Maratea for us. It’s a shame we could only stay one night. She’s a fantastic owner, and I’d recommend this unusual, distinctive place to anyone looking for something different from a standard hotel. Thanks again to Arianna and her kind mother.
