The building and furnishings are dated, and it has a few flaws. Still, it’s in a great spot, across from the Conad supermarket and 100 meters from a bar/tobacconist and another discount store. In July 2019, I booked a small house for three nights for about €140, which was an excellent price. We ate dinner out each night, and with a kitchen that small, I don’t think cooking would have worked well. Good value if you’re only staying a few days.

They could spend a few euros to make guests feel a bit more comfortable.

The outdoor seating makes for a pleasant atmosphere. I tried a panuozzo outside Gragnano for the first time, and was happy with it: they’re generous and tasty. The fennel liqueur I had after dinner was delicious too.

I booked through Booking in May, just after COVID, for a July stay at a low price. They managed to cancel the reservation, and then disputed three perfectly valid credit cards without providing proof of the denied transaction. I offered to make an instant bank transfer, but they didn’t want that either. They had decided not to give me the room at the price I’d quoted from Booking. This establishment is shameful, untrustworthy, and unreliable. The owner was rude and impolite. Avoid it.
