Fantastic!

The staff and management were very, very nice, and the pool was spotless, cleaned every day. Parking was excellent too. The hotel is in a beautiful location, close to the main road, and we did plenty of exploring. The grounds are lovely, though the hotel is showing its age a little. There’s a bar from 8 a.m. for coffee and alcoholic drinks. They speak Italian or English there, neither of which I speak, but gestures and an app worked fine. The beach clubs charge from €70 for two loungers and a parasol. After a 20-minute walk, we found a free beach where the same setup cost €24, although I wouldn’t recommend the toilets there. Showers are across from them. The TV channels are all in Italian, with no German news channel, which was a shame, but the internet was fast. One tip: take the toll-free excursions, they go to lovely towns and scenery. Thanks so much for a great holiday.

We spent 10 very comfortable days at this lovely family-run hotel. The place was clean and well kept, and the beach was close by. Breakfast was hearty and very good, and the half-board meals were excellent Italian food. The staff did everything they could to meet our wishes. We enjoyed sitting in the garden and at the bar, where it was easy to chat with other guests. The pool was extremely clean and tended to every day. It was a truly relaxing holiday, and we’d gladly come back.

It’s a good value stay near the sea in Marina di Pietrasanta, surrounded by a wooded park. There’s a nice pool and shaded parking under the trees. Breakfast was good, and the breakfast and reception staff were both friendly and helpful. I appreciated being told that my attic room was one floor up and not served by the elevator. The room itself was good, but sound travelled easily. The bathroom fan was too noisy and should be replaced, and the shower’s hot water kept coming and going.
