We found it comfortable and good value, especially with parking and a nice breakfast included. The hotel was very clean, and the managers were friendly, helpful, and spoke good English. Their tips for nearby attractions were great. Our front room was a little noisy at night, so we moved for the final night. The side rooms were really nice. Recommended.

We had two very nice rooms, both with air conditioning, one overlooking the sea and the other looking toward the sea and mountains. The family-run hotel sits right across from the beach, with plenty of beach bars nearby. On the street behind the hotel Alk there are shops, bars, and restaurants. The owners gave us useful restaurant suggestions and even made reservations when we asked. A lovely spot for a relaxed seaside break with mountain views, and private parking too.

The staff were welcoming and ready to help, and the manager was especially friendly and professional. Breakfast had lots of options and very good coffee. The hotel parking area is small, but they can provide a ticket for the public car park across the street, so finding a space wasn't a problem even when the hotel's lot was full. Our room was cleaned and the towels changed every day, and we enjoyed relaxing with a drink on the comfortable patio in the evening. The free public beach is 700m away; other beaches charge a fee, though the hotel offers a discount for the beach opposite at 30EUR/family per day. We had a really pleasant stay in Viareggio and will recommend ALK Hotel to our friends and family.

The owner was so helpful with information and tips, and she arranged reservations for us at both the bagno and a restaurant. The location is great, next to the beach, with the main pedestrian street and its shops and restaurants just behind the hotel. A very nice place to stay.

Clean, spacious rooms and a great spot by the sea. I'd happily come back here.
