Suite12

A huge disappointment, and I wouldn’t stay again. The listing said “entire villa,” but that wasn’t our experience. A wall or gap between the living room and another room, apparently the host’s, let voices through clearly in the evenings and light into our space. The villa didn’t feel private, and the walls need fixing. The outdoor kitchen was shared, which the listing hadn’t made clear. In practice, all we had to ourselves was the bedroom and bathroom, which was unacceptable. There was a garden and pool, but little else of the promised space. We only found this out when we arrived. The owner said it was our fault for booking “that area,” though Booking.com showed no alternative options and the description was misleading. We didn’t use the full stay, but got no refund. The host then called me a slanderer. Be clear about which part of the villa you’ll get before booking, and describe the property honestly.
