The garden was lovely and the room was clean, but the mattresses were incredibly uncomfortable and the blankets were worse. My husband, our two little girls, and I rented the room for two nights. The property is nice, though isolated and far from town, and the owner wasn't friendly. When we spoke by phone to arrange check-in, she sounded as if meeting me was a favor. Later she called to accuse my daughter of wetting her milk with urine. That's completely false: water had spilled on the sheets, and I think the difference is clear. Nobody is forced to work in hospitality. If having guests annoys you, or you have to be this unpleasant, maybe change careers. Umbria has plenty of lovely places with welcoming, genuine people, so avoid this one.

I was stranded after my car broke down, so having to sleep here wasn't a pleasant experience. The room wasn't very quiet, and the constant noise kept me awake all night. The welcome was questionable too: the owner first refused a bank transfer and wanted cash only, though fortunately he later changed his mind.

We had a very pleasant stay in this welcoming, well-kept house in the Umbrian countryside. It's in a strategic spot for exploring Umbria, with easy access to the main roads. The family are friendly and helpful, and happy to have a chat.

Anna and Enzo are a lovely, welcoming couple and good people. Their house is beautiful, cool, and cozy, right out in the countryside. A friend and I stayed for two days, renting just one room to sleep in while we spent the rest of the day on pilgrimage. The only issue was finding our way back late at night, since the street signs were faded and we got lost several times. Everything else was fine, and I'd definitely return!
