At Oasis, we had a really good dinner, with tasty food, a pleasant atmosphere, and fair prices. The service was prompt and attentive. We were struggling through Italian, so they sent someone over who spoke English well and helped us out.

We visited twice while holidaying nearby and enjoyed the lovely setting and good food. One dish wasn't quite what I expected, so they removed it from the bill and took a real interest in understanding what had fallen short. I'd go back next time I'm in the area.

The truffles were reasonably priced, the servings generous, and the staff really friendly. The food and wine were high quality, too, with wonderful service. It's in a hotel, but don't let that put you off. This restaurant is seriously good. What more could you ask for?

Our first visit had been really good, so coming back for a second time seemed like a safe choice. It wasn't. The other co-owner was serving that night and seemed bored, irritated, and rude. After only two minutes, he asked what we'd like to eat. Things got worse: dishes for our group arrived at different times, and dessert came before the main course. The food quality was unacceptable, especially the risotto. Later that evening, the other owner came over and apologized explicitly, but by then it was too late. I hope this was just a one-off mistake.
