Appartamento Primo

Everything went smoothly, from the easy check-in and checkout to Primo's clear instructions by message. I never needed to contact him again since nothing went wrong during the stay. The apartment was very neat and cozy, perfect for a couple or someone traveling alone. Bellissimo appartamento, five stars.

My name is Mugdha. I stayed at this property with four friends from June 6, 2024, to June 9, 2024. Dealing with the landlord, Primo, was a nightmare, and I felt deceived. After checkout, he accused us of seriously damaging the apartment, even though we had only used it to sleep. We went back, confused, and his associate pointed to scratches on a wall that clearly looked old. Primo claimed we'd made them by dragging our luggage, which wasn't true. He wouldn't let go of the accusation. I felt that if he cared so much about the apartment, he should have shown it to us before we were left with the keys. We gave up arguing and left, expecting not to get our deposit back. The dispute began with a €250 deposit that wasn't mentioned in the listing when we booked. That requirement was added only afterward. The amount itself was already high, and adding it after the booking felt dishonest. We had initially given Primo the benefit of the doubt because the apartment was good and centrally located. Then he kept messaging my boyfriend, who had made the booking, saying we'd caused damage and demanding extra money on top of the deposit. His estimates jumped from €500 to €1,020 without any basis. He even made invoices himself and sent them to my boyfriend. I attached photos of the scratches, which to anyone with common sense don't look like €1,020 worth of damage. Primo also threatened to go to the police and file criminal charges against my boyfriend. We contacted Booking.com, and they refunded the full €250. They also found it unethical that Primo had added the deposit after we booked, which I feel supports our account and innocence in this matter. Primo sent all the harassing messages to my boyfriend's private number instead of using the Booking.com portal, which avoided a traceable record there. To me, this suggests he's done this before. He seemed to know that people might pay any amount when harassed privately and threatened with a criminal case. Please don't stay here. I believe Primo is a cheat.

The owner was genuinely helpful and kind, and check-in was easy and on time. The apartment matched the photos, with a clean, cozy feel and all the comforts. The location was excellent and the price more than fair. I highly recommend it.

It's a cute, clean apartment in a peaceful spot, which is what I liked most. Supermarkets and other things you might need right away are close by too. I highly recommend it.
