B&B Al Porto

Whenever I'm passing through, this B&B has become my little refuge. The owner is so friendly and kind, and the family atmosphere makes me feel at home. It's right on the lakefront, and the woman who looks after breakfast is fantastic. Thanks for everything. See you soon.

My opinion is subjective, but I'm telling the truth. This place deserves better care. The breakfast lady was very kind, friendly, and nice to us. The owner is older and doesn't say much, though he seems pleasant if you get talking with him. The room and shared spaces were poorly ventilated, with a strong musty smell. There were cobwebs around and some dirt behind the bed and nightstand. Someone smokes in the common area, which smelled awful to me as a non-smoker. The air conditioning only worked for a few hours, then suddenly stopped in every room. There was no lake view at all. The garden is nice but very neglected. There are a few rather worn bikes to use, and you can be sure nobody will steal them, haha. Plenty could be improved.

The breakfast was plentiful and nicely served, and the ladies looking after it were fantastic. The owner doesn't talk much, but he was really kind and helpful, especially since people aren't always welcoming when you have a big dog. Highly recommended!

The B&B was clean and welcoming, and breakfast was generous, though it was all packaged snacks, jams, and juices, with nothing homemade. It's only a few dozen meters from Marta's lakefront and the town center, so it works well for visiting other places around the lake or farther inland. We found street parking without trouble. It's also suitable for families with children. A good base if you have modest expectations, though I didn't think it was great value.
