A lovely garden and private parking are available here. It’s a clean, fully equipped property with WiFi, a TV, and a full bathroom, in a beautiful renovated old building that offers both rooms and apartments. The location is excellent, close to the center of Massa but far enough away for a peaceful stay. Definitely worth a visit.

The location is perfect, just 100m from the historic center, cathedral, shops, and restaurants. There’s outdoor seating and the option to grill. The entrance to the courtyard is very narrow. The rooms are spacious, modest, and furnished in an antique style. One had a renovated bathroom and kitchenette. The wardrobes are unusable and feel like they’re from the century before last. The mirrors are just as bad and don’t reflect even half the image. They’re definitely not Venetian. The price-performance ratio is somewhat on the expensive side.

A very pleasant stay, and highly recommended. This period residence is only steps from the historic center, set among greenery and renovated to keep its pleasantly retro feel. The rooms are spacious and bright, with every comfort, and some have kitchenettes. The bathrooms are elegant and carefully maintained. There’s no elevator, but in a three-floor property like this it would feel completely out of place. Even the staircase has its charm. It works well for a weekend, a short break, or a longer vacation. The sea and sites of historical and artistic interest are close by, and the price is fair for this type of property. A few minutes’ walk away is Lone Wolf, a unique pizzeria with a selection of truly delicious pizzas.

We had a wonderful view of the bell tower, and Casa Ferrini was a highly recommended experience. It’s an unusual place, a stately villa just steps from the center of “little Siena,” Massa Marittima. The historic center is a real gem, and the Duomo has a magical, relaxing atmosphere. The location is strategic for hikes in the woods and days at the beach.
