The staff were pleasant, but I wouldn’t come back without a major improvement. It’s rated 3 stars but felt more like a 2-star hotel. Meals are limited to salads, though they’re filling. The shower was 2ft x 2ft, with a plastic curtain that stuck to your back. Towels weren’t changed for the first 3 days, and we only learned they’d be changed if left on the floor after someone told us.

The location is great, just a few minutes’ walk from the best places in Marina di Massa. The room was tidy and made up every day, the receptionists were very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was delicious.

My 2 friends and I had a great one-night stay. We checked in at 4 AM after a party and were given a room with 3 beds, 2 twin and 1 queen. We woke up to morning views from the balcony, and when we needed a taxi, they called one for us.

The beach is only a three-minute walk away. Our room was comfortable, the service was good, and I can't fault the food or the staff.

The room had no tea or coffee facilities, and the wardrobe rail was about seven feet high. The TV wouldn't pick up any channels, and the air conditioning didn't work. There were no instructions for it either. The bathroom was in a poor state, with a wobbly toilet seat, a dirty stained bath, a shower attachment that wouldn't reach its holder, black grime around the bath sealant, and dirty floor grout. Outside, the front of the hotel was messy and overgrown. The route to our room was untidy because the floor was being relaid, and white dust ended up in the room. For somewhere rated three stars, it felt like a two-star place to me. The food was average at best, and staff hurried us out after we ate. I wouldn't go back.
