Beautiful tent lodge in Massignano with private terrace

The nearest beach is only a five-minute drive, and San Benedetto del Tronto and Porto San Giorgio are close by too. There’s a saltwater pool, and the place is very clean and well cared for. The breakfast was excellent, and the food was extraordinary. It’s a lovely family-run business, suitable for kids, couples, or people travelling alone. Highly recommended.

After visiting Cupra Marittima beach and some lovely nearby villages, coming back to the pool was a real treat. We stayed in a four-person safari tent and had a wonderful time. It was fully equipped and gave us plenty of privacy. Everything around the resort was clean and well looked after. I’d definitely recommend Il Girasole.

The quiet beaches at Cupra Marittima were a lovely discovery. They’re wide and well cared for, and they’ll stay in your heart. At the Country House, what touched us most was the slower pace and the chance to share a meal and meet new people. We sat around a special table with strangers, shared delicious dishes, and ended up feeling like old friends. We’re grateful for that experience. We spent a week with Marco and Solange in the 5x5 Safaritent Lodge, and it went beyond anything we’d imagined. The tent was airy, spotless, and furnished with real taste, including pieces made by Francesco, Marco's father. When we arrived, there was a box of tableware and two glasses of Marche wine. From the vine-framed terrace, the hills look wonderful, especially in the moonlight. The kids loved the pool, while we enjoyed reading under the umbrellas on the loungers.

I’d come back for the easygoing atmosphere. It’s quiet and family friendly, and you feel comfortable there. The garden has lovely sea views, with a bench where you can sit and relax. We had a room with two separate bedrooms. It was tidy and reasonably clean, though there was dust on the closets. There’s no fridge for keeping water cold, but we didn’t miss having a TV. Breakfast was basic, with few savoury choices, and the vending machine drinks weren’t very good. Half-board covers dinner only, and the owners decide what’s served, with no menu or choice, so you have to go with what’s available.
