AgrIGINO Villa Riccardi

Marilena & Vito went out of their way for us. We arrived late at night, and they were there to show us around, with a delicious supper, wine, and beer waiting for us. Agrigino Villa Riccardi looked stunning in the dark, and the view the next morning was breathtaking. When our nephew arrived, he wandered around and said, “this is luxury.” He was right. We stayed there in October 2022 for our Symbolic wedding in Matera. Our family were coming from different parts of the world on different days, and we needed somewhere that could host everyone. Marilena & Vito made an amazing breakfast each morning with great cheese, meats, bread, and fruit. They were available when we needed them but always discreet. Marilena & Antonella also planned our symbolic service, arranging the service, catering, cars, and house decorations. Everything was perfect. The property is about a 15-minute drive from Matera, deep in the countryside, with a wonderful pool and a big outdoor table where everyone could gather for dinner and talk through the evening. We loved it so much that we stayed in and cooked every night. There are loads of pots and pans, crockery, everything you need to cook up a storm, plus a BBQ. It was lovely to wake up to tractors and cows from the neighboring farm instead of traffic. Marilena & Vito, you have a fantastic place, and we can’t thank you enough for everything you did. We feel very humble and blessed to have stayed there. If you get the chance, visit Matera, and stay at Agrigino Villa Riccardi. You won’t be disappointed.
