The view over the ravine was fantastic, and the apartment was well looked after and not far from the centre. We stayed for two days, and the lady was very kind and helpful. There was plenty for meals, including milk, coffee, biscuits, pasta, and sauce, along with toiletries, extra blankets, and pillows.

The apartment is right at the edge of Sasso Caveoso and has an incredible view of the Murgia. Inside, it's clean, usable, and well equipped, with everything you need except shower and hair products. It doesn't look very appealing from the outside, but the interior is nicely furnished. The price is excellent for the location.

Mrs. Milena was courteous and friendly, explained everything clearly, and gave us great suggestions. The place was very quiet, spotlessly clean, and breakfast felt like home. The coffee machine was excellent, and there was even a surprise first grocery delivery. We had complete freedom and could park for free in front of the house. Highly recommend, with Sasso Caveoso just a 10-minute walk away.

It's about a 5-minute walk to Matera's centre, and the apartment has good amenities. One thing to watch: this area has restricted traffic. Parking in front of the apartment between 8:30 PM and midnight isn't recommended because you could get fined. There are other parking spots nearby, outside the restricted traffic zone.

Milena was a warm, kind host and gave us plenty of useful advice on seeing the city and where to eat. The apartment itself is very cute, in a one-of-a-kind panoramic spot overlooking the Sassi of Matera. We had a great experience, and I highly recommend it.
