I Tre Portali Luxury Suites sits against a view you won’t forget, and Mr. Vittorio has furnished it with remarkable taste. It feels almost perfectly put together, and the value for money is impressive. The Sassi of Matera are extraordinary. There’s no other rock settlement in the world on this scale. In most towns you try to find the one iconic photo, but here every view feels like a dream. Highly recommended.

The place is clean and has loads of space. Mr. Vittorio was available straight away, and I’d recommend staying here.

From Piazza San Pietro Canenoso, it’s easy to get to the churches, rock churches, and places to eat. A real gem of a spot. Vittorio was so kind, too. The family suite is spacious and elegant, with a masterful mix of stone, tuff, and chic minimalism.

We stayed in the earth suite and loved the hot tub. It was a great stay in a perfect location.

A lovely spot and such a welcoming apartment, both beautiful and practical. We’ll come back.
