Self check-in was easy, and the owners were helpful with the booking. The cleaning lady was helpful too. The room was spacious and had what we needed, with modern design and welcoming furnishings. Great spot in the center of Matera. Recommended!

Sleeping inside a stone building was a one-of-a-kind experience. The place was clean and very well looked after. The owners were lovely, attentive to what guests need, and happy to share tips and suggestions about the city and its attractions.

The owners made the logistics easy, taking us to and from the parking lot where we’d left the car because many roads were closed for the New Year’s concert. They also knew plenty of good places to visit and eat. We stayed in this studio in the Sassi from December 31, 2018, to January 2, 2019, and I’ve never stayed anywhere more beautiful. Walking in, I was speechless at the atmosphere, the detail, and all the history in the place. I honestly can’t put the feeling into words. Nothing about the stay was negative. I highly recommend it!

Mrs. Ivana was incredibly kind and helpful. The residence is stylish and well designed, with everything you need, really more like a mini apartment. It’s in the pedestrian part of Sasso Barisano, but the car park is only a five-minute walk away.

The owners were warm and helpful, and the place itself was welcoming, clean, and well cared for. Its location made visiting Matera easy and stress free. Highly recommend.
