The apartment is beautifully located opposite Murgia Park. There you can visit a rock church that really is as beautiful as the tours make it sound. The owner was kind and helpful, and the place had everything we could need. It has been completely renovated, and the apartment is truly beautiful. Matera is a dream. I highly recommend it.

A short drive gets you to Matera's center, and the neighborhood itself is quiet. The owner was very kind and helpful. The apartment was spacious, clean, and well kept, with a fully equipped kitchen and an outdoor area with a table and chairs.

Set among greenery in a very quiet area, this spacious, clean accommodation has all the amenities and is a great choice for a Matera visit. The host really goes the extra mile to make the stay pleasant. By car, it's easy to get to the parking garage next to the old Sassi, in the center, where driving requires a special permit.

The owner was friendly and ready with suggestions for getting around and places to see. The house is surrounded by greenery, yet only minutes from Matera's historic center, which makes it very well situated. It was clean, well cared for, and had everything needed for a pleasant stay.

We had two e-bikes with us, and there was plenty of room in the spacious, fully equipped room. The mattress was incredibly comfortable, easily the best, and I woke up without back pain every morning for the first time. The setting is enchanting, and the location is quiet and convenient. The owners were kind and helpful, and their suggestions led us to Matera's most beautiful rock church and just the right restaurants. We'll be back.
