We’ve never stayed anywhere so generously stocked. Along with the basics, there were 8-10 fairly large slices of different focaccia, two aubergine parmigiana, pastries, muffins, bread, fruit, milk, wine, yoghurt, and lots more. I felt almost embarrassed, but it was lovely. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, with a good price and location. Pascal, who I think is the owner, replied promptly, helped us find easy free parking, and brought our luggage to the apartment. He also shared good tips on places to visit and eat.

From our arrival to leaving a week later, the owner looked after us so well. He explained Matera’s history and the area, and showed us where to park for free. The accommodation was top class, with a fridge full of things and little treats during the week. We were lucky to stay here on our holiday. If you want to experience exceptional Italian hospitality, this is a must. We’ll be back 🇮🇹😎🍒

I’m so grateful to the owner for making our four days in Matera amazing ❤️ He was waiting outside when we arrived, helped us park, and carried our really heavy luggage. Since we aren’t local, he even drove us to show us where we could park for free, so we wouldn’t risk a ticket by parking in the wrong place. The apartment felt cozy and clean, and looked even better than it did online. It had both a washing machine and a dryer. We were meant to check out at 10am, but our flight wasn’t until 8pm, and he let us stay as long as we wanted 😭😭😭 That meant we didn’t have to get up early and wait around before boarding, which was such a relief with a child and all our bags. I’m beyond thankful for everything he did ❤️❤️

We loved both the town and the apartment. It was clean, tastefully done, and had everything we needed. Pasquale gave us helpful ideas for what to see, and left a generous, fresh breakfast that felt thoughtfully chosen. We were made to feel welcome, and the stay was genuinely pleasant.
