Marisa made us feel welcome right away and had good suggestions for places to eat. The room at La Casa di Alice was quiet and comfortable, right in the center. We slept well and enjoyed a generous breakfast of tasty local treats. We'd gladly return. Thanks, Marisa!

The tasteful decor at "Alice's House" gave the place an old-fashioned romantic feel, and let us spend some time reconnecting as a couple away from everything. Marisa was so friendly and generous with tips about local sights and good places to eat. We only stayed one night, but it left a wonderful memory. The location in the heart of the Sassi was excellent.

A charming little apartment right in the center of Matera, and very clean. It's a lovely, distinctive place for a holiday somewhere truly unique. The owner, Mrs. Marisa, was always friendly and happy to help.

The elegant furnishings and clean rooms made staying in this ancient cave feel special, and breakfast was excellent. It's also very central for exploring the city. A warm thank you to the owners, Lino and Marisa, for being so kind and available, and for their knowledgeable tips on the best of Matera.
