Really enjoyed the stay and the atmosphere.

It’s about a 25-minute walk to the center, and a good option if you’re visiting Matera for a night. The online check-in was clear and explained everything, and the room was super clean. We were missing towels, though I can’t remember whether I’d left them out of the price. Otherwise everything was perfect. I’ll come back!

You can sleep here, but it’s not very comfortable. The light only comes on when you turn the key, which is annoying if you want to leave the room lit while stepping out to use the hallway toilet.

The staff are always available and really friendly. It’s also a lovely place to stay when visiting Matera, close to both the center and the train stations.

The owner was friendly, and the room was clean. The area is well served, with shops, a bar, and a supermarket nearby. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the center.
