The garden was a lovely place to relax, with a pool and the comfiest sunbeds. The Locanda is about 10 mins by car from Matera, and the facilities were just right. Breakfast was incredible, and the guest fridge was always stocked with water and juices. The hosts made my girlfriend and me feel completely at home, like part of their lovely family. Giuseppe, Andrea and Antonella were wonderful. This was one of our best B&B stays, and I’d highly recommend it for relaxing and getting the full Materana experience. We’ll definitely return!

The breakfasts were generous, varied, and full of fresh, high-quality local products. The room was spotless and had every comfort, with an incredibly comfortable bed. We were welcomed warmly and the hosts were always available. I stayed three nights at the end of May to see Matera and the surrounding area. There’s a large, peaceful garden with a pool, plenty of loungers and umbrellas, and it was truly relaxing. I hope to come back soon.

Mornings were a treat, with a generous breakfast of fresh, varied food served in a relaxed atmosphere. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well looked after, and the Wi-Fi worked flawlessly throughout our stay. La Locanda di Zì Nicola is in a peaceful rural setting, in a charmingly renovated old house with a lovely garden and refreshing pool. It felt like a quiet haven near Matera. The owner and hosts welcomed us warmly, and their kindness and dedication really stood out. Everything was top-notch, and I’d highly recommend staying here.
