The owner was very friendly and helpful, and the welcome was top-notch. The room, though, wasn’t worth the high price. It was a very small single with almost no window, and the mattress was so thin and uncomfortable I could feel the slats. The hairdryer was broken and kept switching off. The shower wouldn’t close properly and soaked the whole bathroom. It might be okay for one night if you don’t expect much.

I appreciate that the owner contacted us personally about the breakfast problem and offered to refund part of what we paid. I also agree the inconvenience wasn’t the property’s fault. But since, according to the owner, it had happened before, I think it was still up to them to reassure guests about the service quality. As for the property itself, our room was large, had air conditioning and a balcony, but there were crusts on the ceiling. The TV was blocked by the bed frame, so we had to crouch and put it on a stool on top of the furniture to watch. It also needed two remotes because of the decoder. The bathroom had a tiny sink tucked in a corner at Smurf height, and the micro shower tray was so small we had to wash with the doors open and get water all over the floor. There was mold on the ceiling and shower stall. We had to wedge the shower microphone’s telescopic rod with a plastic fork prong to keep it at the right height, otherwise it fell onto the soap dish. There was dirty cutlery in the drawer. The refrigerator was almost hot, and by the next day it wouldn’t cool the water. The reception was handled by your assistant, who was very insistent about arrival time and said it had to be by 6 p.m., though Booking.com listed 7:30 p.m. We arrived at 4 p.m., well ahead of both times, but waited 30 minutes even after trying to contact her to clarify our arrival. Her manner was hasty and cold, and she just did what she had to do. I don’t know how to judge the reception beyond that. I hope this answers your curiosity about our opinion of the property. See you never again….

It has a special atmosphere that feels magical after dark and just as lovely during the day. A place unlike any other.

The host was so thoughtful and kind. The location is handy, and there's parking close by. I'd definitely recommend it!
