B&B San Michele

The welcome was kind and attentive, and the B&B is lovely, clean, and right in Mazara’s historic center. My room had a balcony overlooking a beautiful square and the church of San Michele. The downside is that the rooms aren’t soundproofed. You can hear everything, even when people speak at a normal volume.

The owners were kind and helpful, and the B&B itself was a real gem, large, modern, new, super clean, and fragrant. We were five friends staying one night with three custom motorcycles, and parked right in front, where cameras monitored the area. Breakfast on the terrace included homemade cakes and desserts, plus much more. Compliments to the owners for making the B&B such a pleasant place. Highly recommended!

We chose this centrally placed B&B on the recommendation of a Sicilian friend and stayed for one night. Mr. Vincenzo was very kind: he met us in his car and brought us right to the entrance. We left the car in the handy nearby parking lot, then went out for dinner and a walk along the lovely seafront. The blue gate of the Casbah and the Church of San Biagio are also easy to reach, about 300 meters away. Our room was simple, clean, and roomy, and breakfast was generous and genuinely local, with food made by his Neapolitan wife. There was a lovely view of the square, too. Vincenzo and his family really make the stay, always ready to help with whatever you need and share tips on places to see. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well looked after, and breakfast on the terrace is generous, a lovely way to start the day. The location makes it easy to walk to the center and the kasbah. Highly recommended!
