Mesogheo

The pool was just right for relaxing with some of their carefully chosen wines and cold dishes prepared by the hosts. The architecture and decor of Mesogheo fit beautifully with the natural surroundings. It’s a hidden gem, and Nicoletta and Fabrizio are wonderful B&B hosts. They were keen to help with restaurant and excursion suggestions, knew the area inside out, and happily shared plenty of useful tips. Nicoletta’s recommendation for a cornetto was heavenly.

The food we had beside the pool was so good I don’t know where to start. The room was clean and cozy, and the location felt ideal for a couple. Nicoletta and Fabrizio are very friendly and helpful. This is a lovely place to stay, the best BnB I’ve been to so far. I’m already looking forward to coming back to Mesogheo.

We left feeling refreshed and renewed, and are hoping to return for at least a week around the same time next year. Mesogheo really is a middle place, a Mesogheo, Medi terra, in the sense that it sits among many of the beautiful things to see in the Napolitan region. You’ll need a car to visit them. We arrived in the third week of September, when the region had perfect weather and temperatures. The property sits on a hill between an oak and plane tree forest and an olive grove, with views over the surrounding landscape and nearby mountains. Its quiet helped us relax deeply after a difficult, stressful year and enjoy what the place and region have to offer. Nikoleta and Fabricio greeted us with such warm, smiling kindness that we soon felt comfortable and could put our worries aside. The delicious breakfast and the Greco-Italian lunch they prepared, with delicate products they served us, were an unexpected treat. The rooms are stylish, and the beds so comfortable that we spent much of our time in them.

The owner’s service was impeccable. They were helpful and always smiling. The rooms are comfortable, luxurious, and finished to a high standard. I’d highly recommend staying here for a wonderful experience.
