The managers were friendly and helpful, and the covered garage spot was good value for two days. The room itself was dirty, old, and run-down. There weren’t any sheets, and although the single duvet was warm, it was very uncomfortable. The bathroom was blind in the kitchen, which was a shame, since there are pubs nearby. The location is the main plus, close to the thermal baths, Christmas markets, and the famous Forsterbräu Merano. That was enough to make the stay worthwhile. The garage would get three stars.

It’s so handy for both the center and the spa, and coming back to a warm, comfortable place was lovely. The residence feels pretty dated, though, and could really use a refresh and a proper clean. It has a lot of potential.

The apartment was simple but pleasant, and the center was an easy 10-minute walk away. Merano itself is very expensive. The bathroom was the main downside: no window or bidet, and the door wouldn’t shut properly. The owner was really accommodating about our 10 pm check-in and bringing our dog, and even helped find a mechanic open on Saturday afternoon when we got a flat tire.

It’s handy for getting to the pedestrian area, though the busy road nearby is a downside. The apartments have what you need, but maintenance is lacking: the bathroom whirlpool, a closet, and one window were broken. For the prices, I expected better.
