Hotel Tenuta Moreno

A charming, romantic estate with lovely landscaping, great food, and a top-notch pool and pool bar. Just keep in mind there aren’t any shops or other places within walking distance. You’ll need a car if you don’t plan to stay at the hotel the whole time, though the hotel does rent bikes.

We’re already looking forward to coming back in 2022. Gardens and countryside surround the beautiful buildings and facilities, including a fabulous pool, tennis courts, health spa, gym, and bikes for guests. From the Front Desk, Marta, Perla and Paola, to the restaurant, pool, bar, and House keeping teams, everyone was friendly and professional, and gave us excellent service throughout. We had a wonderfully relaxing stay.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant and pool bar are quite good. Breakfast is served in a spacious room with a wide choice of items to suit most people. Set in a large, quiet olive orchard just off the main road, the hotel has up-to-date rooms, two large pools for hot days, and lovely public rooms converted from an old farmhouse. It’s a wonderful full-service hotel.

We had a great two-night stay at Tenuta Moreno. Breakfast was the best of our trip, with fresh bread and orange juice, freshly sliced ham and cheese, eggs made to order, tasty Italian sweets, and good Italian coffee prepared by a barista. Staff at both the hotel and pool were welcoming. The rooms were clean, the pool area was nice, and our balcony had a mosquito net. Wi-Fi was fast and good, and parking near the hotel was free. Some facilities need attention. Both tennis court nets were broken and the courts were in terrible condition. The bowling field had no equipment, so I wonder if anyone brings their own pins and balls. The gym also hadn’t been cleaned or maintained properly in a while. I was tempted to give four stars because of the state of some facilities.
