La Casa Sul Lago

We first booked this place because it’s close to Papardo Hospital, and ended up feeling like we’d found another family. Nella and Anna are kind, deeply caring people, and you can tell how much attention they put into running the house. It felt like home, with a clean, charming, welcoming atmosphere and every comfort. Nella’s breakfasts are hard to forget, and guests can use the fully equipped kitchen too. The lake view is spectacular. There’s free parking, and all the essentials are right next door. We’ll definitely come back.

I stayed here over Christmas to spend time with relatives, and the spot was both clever and spectacular. Messina is only a few minutes away. For breakfast and other meals, I tried the good food at nearby restaurants and places in the center. I’ll certainly return.

The sisters who run this B&B are so kind, and they spoil you with homemade sweets and their famous orange marmalade. It’s a clean, comfortable, welcoming place with a lovely view over Lake Ganzirri. Restaurants and supermarkets are close by, and the sea is only a few steps away. A really excellent stay.

The lake setting is enchanting and took my breath away. I found everything I needed here, from the hospitality and helpfulness to the excellent management. It feels like a wonderful family. Thanks, Anna and Nunziatina, you’re so sweet. This place is well worth a visit, and I highly recommend coming.
