The people in the shop were lovely, and the pizzeria waiter was very nice. There was also one lovely young woman in the office. Beyond that, we had a terrible stay. Staff were dismissive and unhelpful, and the manageress was rude while other staff seemed uninterested. Loud music ran from 10 am to 3pm, then started again at 6pm and went into the night. They promised it would stop at 11.30, but it didn't. I emailed at 00.45 am asking them to turn it off and got no reply. The place felt purely profit-driven, like clients didn't matter, so we left as soon as we could. Any positive reviews seem fictitious. They could hardly be bothered to tell us where to get a document printed. It wasn't possible there, though other campsites had printed essential things for us. Same with refrigeration, there were no facilities, while other campsites had them. Awful place.

For beach access and friendly staff, this is the best camping place. But the sanitary facilities were the pits, the worst bathrooms I've ever seen or had to use at a campground. No toilet seats, no toilet paper, and they were cleaned only once during the 10 days we stayed while waiting for the ferry to Greece from Bari. I had to bring my own Blech wipes to clean before using them. If bathrooms matter to you, avoid this campground. Otherwise it was okay. Also, the beach chairs aren't free. When you leave, they ask if you used them and charge you for the days.

The location was perfect, and everyone was friendly and gave us good service and support. We had a very good family stay at this camping in summer 2020. The owners were very helpful, and we'll come back. I can recommend visiting the Metaponto area. Family from Holland

Our best camping experience so far. There was lots of space, good Wi-Fi until 21:26, and it was close to the beach. In June it was quiet, too. At 21 EUR, it was the cheapest price we'd found so far in the south, compared with an average of 30 EUR.
