The bathroom ceiling and shower had fungus, and the beds were uncomfortable. Rooms are tiny, with none of the basics like salt or dish soap, and only one roll of toilet paper. This was the worst standard I’ve ever experienced. I’d never recommend staying here.
You can hear the neighbors talking through the walls, and the bathroom is old with mold in the shower and on the ceiling. The apartment needs renovation and felt very dated. The double bed is squeezed between two walls, leaving no room at the foot for anyone a little taller. A 1.90 m plywood wall with doors that wouldn’t open separates it from the bunk bed and the rest of the apartment. We also found dust on the floor, under furniture and radiators, dead bugs stuck to the wall, and animal hair on the sofa and cushions. A blanket hid some of it until we moved it. The closet was hard to open on one side, and the hair dryer didn’t work and smelled like something was burning. We reported the dirt, and the agency sent a cleaner the next day, but nothing had changed when we got back. We cleaned ourselves and asked for a €50 refund.
The kitchen was well equipped, though some rooms had an oven instead of a microwave. There were plenty of knives, scissors, and other cutlery, plus a broom, mop, cloth, washbasin, and bins. The beds were okay, and the view was either mountains from the street side or the parking lot and forest. But for three people staying seven days, there was only one roll of toilet paper, no dish soap, dishcloth, or cutting board. It’s close to the ski lift, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you want peace and quiet. Street-facing rooms often get disco noise in the evenings, and a neighbor partying late can keep you awake all night. Our entrance hall had puddles because someone had defrosted the fridge. It ran loudly like a tank, then when it stopped, the compressor shook every 15 minutes. The rooms were hot, and the temperature took a while to adjust. The shower drained so slowly that the next person had to wait 15 minutes. Rooms felt cramped, and some were reached by narrow, winding stairs.
You can strap on your skis and head straight down to the gondola station, and there are shops and rentals on site. The place is right on the slope, which is the main thing. The price for what you get is fantastic. The look and condition are just so-so, but it has everything you need.
