That beef tartare was the best we’ve found on our Italy trip so far, and the sourdough was among the best I’ve tasted. I think it came from Oro bakery in Assisi. The staff were welcoming and spoke English, and the artistic touches, down to the beautiful plates and Murano water glasses, made the place special. The food was simply delicious. Absolutely fabulous, and well worth a visit!!!

I can only hope you get to eat here. Damiano is such a good chef, with loads of experience and an eclectic style. His imagination and curiosity come through in how he gives traditional dishes a lighter, more modern take. There’s also an impressive natural wine list, and he’s probably one of the leading experts on it.

The food was impressive and interesting, and the wine was lovely without the prices being unreasonable. Service was quick and friendly, too. We had a really enjoyable dinner in Foligno and I’d happily return and recommend the place.
