I stopped in for lunch during a hike in the area in mid-August. I didn't stay at the hotel, but the meal was good and filling enough to keep me going on my hike. The staff were very friendly and quick with the order, and the refuge had a lovely view.

We popped in for a drink and a crepe during our skiing holiday. The views were great, and the bomardinos were yummy.

The location is great if you can get to it. It's where three ski areas roughly meet, so lunchtime gets very busy. They seem to sell a huge number of pizzas, so they must be decent, but the sandwiches and beers are good too.

It's a great place to start if you want to catch the first run of the day, right up at the top of its mountain and close to the main lifts. It connects to the whole resort and works as a hub throughout the day. The food is great all day, with the best pizza among the rifugios. The spa and services are great too, though the rooms are a little uncomfortable.

There can be a lot of people around noon, so finding an empty seat may be difficult. Pizza usually takes around 10-15 minutes. The prices seemed good to me as a Polish guy :D, and the traditional Italian pizza was tasty, among the best on piste. I'd recommend the place as a restaurant. I haven't stayed in the rooms.
