The location is excellent, but the accommodation was far too expensive for what it offered. It was stifling inside despite the air conditioners, which the owner wouldn’t let guests use. There were issues with the faucets and an odor in the bathroom. We felt misled by the offer from the Lake in Como agency, since its website photos didn’t match the actual property, and the agency never replied to our requests.

The Brentano residence is a private home, not a hotel.

Such a peaceful spot, with a superb view of the lake and the tip of Balbiannello.
