The team made us feel welcome, especially Mr. Alfredo, whose warmth and professionalism made our stay more memorable. We also loved the vintage elevator, which gives the hotel its own character. The location is hard to beat, a one-minute walk from the Duomo, and the morning streets smelled of fresh coffee, a lovely bit of Italian charm. After a difficult journey to Italy, staying here felt like a blessing, especially since it was my wife's birthday. The elegant “old money” style was stunning from the moment we entered, and the bathroom left us speechless. Milan enchanted us, and the hotel was a big part of that. Next time we'll leave the problematic caravan at home, but we'll absolutely come back.

You're within walking distance of restaurants, shops and Duomo Milano, right in the heart of the city. That's why I chose the hotel, and the location lived up to expectations. The room was dated, though, and its furnishings and decor could use an update. There are a fridge, cooktop and microwave, and the AC worked well. They don't provide blankets in summer, but we were able to get extra sheets. If you plan to spend most of your time exploring and just need somewhere to sleep, it does the job. It's not ideal for anyone after luxury or modern comforts, but the location makes it worth considering.

We got lucky with an upgrade to their apartment behind the Doumo. It had an amazing balcony view of the Doumo, although being right across from Victoria's Secret wasn't ideal for me. The Galleria, the Doumo, and plenty of bars and restaurants were a short walk away. Loved it.

Don't stay here. The owner is extremely rude, and if you check the Booking.com reviews, he insults people who leave honest feedback. This run-down, dirty place doesn't deserve to be called a hotel. The staff are hostile and impolite, just like the owner, and the photos are very misleading.
