The apartment was well equipped and in a prime downtown location, but I strongly advise against staying here because of the host, Luca B. He was rude and unfriendly, with pushy calls before our evening arrival even though check-in was officially allowed until 11 p.m. When we arrived, he aggressively asked why we’d asked someone downstairs for the address. The next morning, during our two-night stay after arriving late, he reminded us intrusively that checkout was before 9 a.m. the following morning. Right after checkout, he kept calling aggressively and demanded €500, claiming there were two scratches on the induction stove. We barely cooked, just boiled two eggs. I don’t know whether the minor scratches were already there or came from the cleaning lady, but I know we didn’t cause them. Demanding €500 in such an aggressive way was completely unacceptable. Luca B. also threatened to call the police if we didn’t pay. We didn’t give in to what felt like an outrageous scam and reported it to Booking.com right away.
