B&B Hotel Milano San Siro

Right beside San Siro stadium, so it's a handy choice if you're going to a match. The hotel is small, but clean and well equipped. Beds were very comfortable, and the simple breakfast tasted really good.

The room was peaceful and spotless, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom worked well, and breakfast was decent. I stayed for five nights during the week and had a pleasant visit. For getting around, you can walk through the stadium parking lot to M5 metro station in about 10 minutes, around 500 metres away. The location is reasonably convenient. A couple of small annoyances: the room was rather dim, and there weren't any charging sockets by the bed. Still, I'd recommend it as a base for seeing Milan and the surrounding area.

I booked B&B Hotel Milano San Siro because it was closest to the shuttle pickup for Milan to Courmayeur. The price was very reasonable, and I was surprised by how much I liked the place. For this personal trip I booked for myself, even though I usually stay in five-star hotels for work. The room was plain but roomy and extremely clean. I slept especially well, the bed and pillows were so comfortable. Fabrizio at reception was lovely, professional, and quick to help, which made the stay even better. I'd happily come back and recommend it.

San Siro Stadium is right across the street, which is the hotel's best feature, especially if you're a soccer fan. The breakfast buffet is serviceable, though it costs extra. The rooms are clean but sparse: no fridge or in-room coffee or tea, small towels and no washcloths, and the beds are small twin size. There's nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom either. It feels more like a dorm room than a hotel.
