The apartment is centrally located and quiet, but if you're after a comfortable place near the duomo, this isn't it. It's heavily used, with worn-out, tired facilities. Bamboo's managed apartments seem to run a very tight ship: we were given just two Nescafe pods. Getting there was frustrating too. I messaged the managers at least ten times over more than two weeks about the City tax we owed, but they never sent a payment link. The kitchen was supposedly well equipped, yet there was only a worn-out sponge for washing dishes. No tea towel, bread knife, coffee maker or strainer, cutting board, or even a single detergent tablet for either the dishwasher or washing machine. The Nescafe pod machine was the only coffee option, in Italy of all places, and the plastic utensils were so rubbish I wouldn't give them to an op-shop. In the bathroom, the towels were thin and worn, and there was only one tiny bar of soap for a four-night stay. The bedroom had one bedside lamp and no power points by the bed. This was our worst apartment in almost two months of continuous travel.

We spent three days there in mid-January and had a really good stay. The apartment was lovely and had everything we needed for a holiday, in a peaceful building. It was also in a quiet, convenient spot for getting around. There are shops of all kinds very close by, and the taxi stand is just a couple of steps away. Highly recommended.

What was advertised didn't match reality. The place is on the fourth floor with no elevator, so carrying a suitcase up was quite an experience. The email instructions arrived late, and I couldn't get into the building. There was only a room with a bed, and it hadn't been cleaned well. The kettle, kitchen equipment, and microwave were missing. They also charged me 50 euros, and I have no idea why, so I'll complain. The owner gives no contact details, there is no reception, and they won't let anyone in. The only bit of luck was the tater in the studio next door, who was willing to help, but unfortunately couldn't let me in anywhere. Next time we'll use better quality services.

It's in a great spot, close to the Duomo but on a quiet street. The apartment was cold, though, because the radiators weren't working properly.

It's very well located, with a comfortable bed and good equipment. The windows need renovating, and the shower pressure needs attention.
